All volunteers who would like to work with children and youth are required to participate in the Protecting God’s Children program. Participants learn to be aware of how to protect those in their care from child sexual abuse and to provide a safe environment. A background check is necessary. Training sessions last about three hours and are held periodically in the diocese. For more information, contact Marie Relic at 436-9200, ext. 302, or marie@holyfamily.com

Volunteer opportunities are available to serve children from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. Those include Children's Liturgy of the Word leaders, PSR catechists, PSR aides, and Vacation Bible School activity leaders, teachers and aides. For more information, contact Jena Duffy, at 436-9200, ext.308, or jena@holyfamily.com

Other volunteer opportunities are available to serve high school youth. Those include confirmation sponsors and senior high catechists. Contact Rob Lickteig, youth/young adult minister, at 436-9200, ext. 309, or rob@holyfamily.com for more information.
