A native to the Northland, Dee Carver was raised in Gladstone, Mo, where she graduated from Oak Park High School. From there she received a Bachelor’s degree in Art at Northwest Missouri State University. After working in the printing industry for 26 years, Dee began to see a decline in print companies and often came to various churches to work and spend time between print companies. As another printing company began to cut back, Dee volunteered at Holy Family, completing maintenance-type tasks. This eventually led to her taking on the role of Maintenance Supervisor, where she has joyfully served since 2011.

Raised Presbyterian, Dee found herself attending several different Christian church services with friends in college and beyond. She met and became friends with John Winkels, who brought her to Holy Family when he took over as Liturgy and Music Director. Feeling right at home immediately, Dee has been a member at Holy Family for over 10 years. When she is not working, Dee enjoys most outdoor activities, including fishing, camping, hiking and photography, especially sunrises and sunsets.
