Cathy Barron - Director of Bell Choir

& Funeral Ministry

I’m excited to be stepping into the roles of Director of the Handbell Choir and the Funeral Ministry here at Holy Family.

I’ve been a parishioner since 1999, when the Liturgical Director at the time invited me to join the Holy Family Choir. From that first experience, I felt right at home, and I’ve been involved in the music ministry ever since — as a cantor, choir member, and part of the handbell choir.

I also spent 32 years teaching in several diocesan Catholic schools, and during that time, I was often asked to lead music for Vacation Bible School, which was always a highlight for me. Some of my fondest memories are the children’s performances at the end of VBS week. What brings me joy is that many of those kiddos are now involved in music ministry today.

I’m truly looking forward to this new chapter and continuing to serve our parish in these new ways. Thanks in advance for your support and prayers — it means a lot!
