TWG Extraordinary Gifts Wish List

Thanks to the generosity of our parish community, the Together We Grow Campaign is making possible our current parish expansion.

Our long anticipated construction is well under way! A Wish List Fund has been designated as an opportunity for exceptionally generous parishioners to help fund several items not included in our core project budget.

Perhaps something on the Wish List speaks to you or your family – an amenity, work of art or sacramental. Contributions to the Wish List could be in honor of a loved one or in gratitude for a special blessing.

Please know that pledges to the Wish List items would be gifts above and beyond an annual tithe and current campaign gift. Unless an item is underwritten in total, all gifts will be designed to the General Wish List Fund.
The individual projects will then be completed as accumulated funding allows.

To discuss interest in any of these items, please contact a member of the Campaign Steering Committee or parish staff. Gifts of all sizes are welcome, and your prayers and support, as always, are deeply appreciated.

Come on, Holy Spirit!

Devotional Furnishings and Art

Our Lady of Wisdom Bronze Cast

In the dedicated devotional area in the sanctuary’s northwest corner, the wise and welcoming Mary of Nazareth, mother and grandmother of all her children, rests in a place of quiet reflection. The area features warm votive candlelight in a garden-like setting with live foliage and flowing baptismal waters. This exquisite work is a bronze cast created by Sister Marie Henderson, RSM, of Detroit, MI. Mary sits on a large piece of native Missouri limestone. Next to her is an empty space – a bench of respite – for the one approaching to sit. With outstretched hands, Mary invites her visitors to light a candle, take a seat beside her, and pray for her intercession.

Worship Environment

Liturgical Furnishings & Altar Accent Wall

While primary components of the altar and furnishings are included in the worship area expansion, some furnishings and design accents are on the Wish List. This includes a handcrafted stone wall, reflective of God’s steadfast and enduring love, that would be constructed in the sanctuary as a backdrop to the altar. Other sanctuary furnishings would include artfully crafted candle stands, credence tables and cantor stand to complement the altar, ambo, tabernacle and chair. These items are crafted of red oak harvested from renewable northern U.S. forests and beautifully accented with elements of dark emperador Spanish marble.

Holy Family Youth Area

Special Furnishings and Extras

Comfortable and inviting furnishings and technology upgrades go a long way in creating an environment that is warm and welcoming to young people. Any funds designated for parish youth areas will help furnish these areas with items designed to enhance their experiences in spiritual formation and parish involvement.
