Holy Family has many prayer ministries available to our parishioners, encouraging growth in their spiritual life. We welcome all who wish to participate in these prayer ministries.
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament takes place each Thursday beginning at 8:30 a.m. It continues throughout the day and evening with closing prayer at 8 p.m.

Members of the Prayer Chain pray for requested intentions. To join or to submit a prayer, please fill our our prayer chain request form.

Prayers for the Military
Holy Family will add members of our parish families who are currently serving our country to our prayer chain and create an on-going prayer list in the bulletin.
If you have a loved one who is currently serving in the military, please send their names to mike@holyfamily.com or call the parish office at 816-436-9200. Please include their name, rank and where they are serving. When your loved one is back home or inactive, just let us know and we will take them off the list.
Tuesday Night Prayer Group
The Holy Family Prayer Group is an informal prayer group that meets each Tuesday, at 6:30 p.m., in room 214. The group centers around prayer, song and scripture, focusing on the weekend readings and meditation. You are encouraged to bring your Bible, and a pen and paper to make notes for yourself. Specific prayer requests invited. This offering is open to everyone, with a special invitation to families; come each week or whenever you are able. The facilitators are Joe and Judy Roetheli.

Rosary
Please come to pray the rosary at 7:30 a.m. on the first Saturday of each month. Bring your special intention. The rosary is said every Saturday in the Marian months of October and May. For more information contact rosary@holyfamily.com.
Prayer Shawl Ministry: St. Brigid Needlework Group
The St. Brigid Needlework Group combines prayer with members’ needlework talents to provide God’s healing grace to others. The group produces prayer shawls to people in need of comfort and solace.
If you do not know how to knit, members will teach you. The group meets the third Sunday of the each month in the chapel at 9:45 a.m. Contact the group at stbrigidsneedlework@holyfamily.com
