Adult Education Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer opportunities are available to assist as members of the RCIA team, as RCIA sponsors, as marriage preparation lead couples and Jordan Program facilitators.
Adult Formation- Bible Studies
Each September and January, Holy Family offers adult bible study programs on Thursday mornings from 9 to 11 a.m. and Monday evenings from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Each session has a different focus. Click here to register for the upcoming session online.
ChristLife Series: Discovering, Following, Sharing
The ChristLife Series is a three-step evangelization process that is changing lives and transforming parishes. The series consists of three essential elements: discover, follow, and share. The series is divided into three seven-week courses which build upon each other to introduce people to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and His transforming love. Holy Family Men of Faith
Men come together to study the richness of the Catholic faith and learn how to apply it to their daily lives to become better fathers, husbands, brothers, associates and Christian men.
The men gather for a light breakfast at 6 a.m. on Tuesdays in room 215, followed by a video presentation and discussion. All sessions end at 7:20 a.m. Ten to twelve sessions run from February through April and September through November. Regardless of when a session starts they are always open to new participants. The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a program of instruction, prayer and ritual celebrations for persons interested in the Catholic Church. The program is designed primarily for unbaptized persons and baptized non-Catholics; however, adult Catholics who have not yet received first Eucharist or confirmation are also welcome.
St. Catherine's Women’s Bible Study
The Women’s Bible Study is open to any women within our community. The group meets on Sundays at 9:40 a.m. in room 215 from September through May.
Marilyn Meyer Memorial Library
The Marilyn Meyer Memorial Library is a free resource available to Holy Family parishioners of all ages. This library has books to enrich your faith, for your enjoyment and leisure, and for children. The Library is located in the meeting room off the parish hall, downstairs. Please contact Peggy Petersen to check out a book: [email protected].
Marilyn Meyer was an active parishioner and teacher who was devoted to children’s literacy. Before Marilyn died in 2001, she wished to improve the parish library with funds donated in her memory.
